Viva Italia!

Join us for a delicious, romantic and entertaining evening.

Start with a sumptuous four course Italian feast prepared by Linda Harding of the Kitchen Sage, the former Natural Food Chef for Lunds & Byerly’s.

The exceptional meal, based upon the movie itself will be served to you with wine and amore! Follow that with an intimate viewing of “Big Night”, a Campbell Scott classic starring Stanley Tucci and Wisconsin’s own Tony Shaloub. “Big Night” follows the story of two immigrant brothers from Abruzzo (Italy) who own and operate a restaurant called “Paradise.” One brother, Primo (Tony Shalhoub), is a brilliant, perfectionist chef who chafes under their few customers’ expectations of “Americanized” Italian food. Their uncle’s offer for them to return to Rome to help with his restaurant is becoming more and more appealing to Primo.

The other brother, Secondo (Tucci), is the restaurant’s manager, who is enamored of the possibilities presented by their new endeavor and life in America.

This exceptional film was nominated for the “Grand Jury Prize” at the Sundance Film Festival and the “Grand Special Prize” at the Deauville Film Festival.

This unique dining and cinematic event is a collaboration between The Kitchen Sage, WideSpot and Flyway Film Festival.

Tickets are $50/person and reservations are required by Monday, May14th by calling The Widespot at 715-307-8941 or by emailing klynntatum@widesportpeformingarts.org .
