About

The Flyway Film Festival was founded by Rick Vaicius in 2008 on the beautiful shores of Lake Pepin in southwestern Wisconsin. The Fourth Annual Flyway Film Festival will take place October 20-23, 2011 in the adjoining towns of Pepin & Stockholm, Wisconsin.

The 2011 Festival will feature over 50 films, over 30 visiting filmmakers, panel discussions, the Jon Reiss Think Outside The Box Office workshop, and a Thursday night Kickoff Gala with food, filmmakers and live music. All this in an intimate and interactive environment along the banks of the Mississippi River.

A highlight of the Flyway Film Festival is the opening night awards ceremony in which the talented recipients receive the Flyway Ax, a stone sculpture designed by nationally recognized local artist David Culver.
